First Team Retain Senior Cup

A last minute goal from hero 'Millsy' (Alan Mills) saw Whitton United retain the Suffolk Senior Cup at Portman Road.
Long Melford took the lead two minutes into the second half, but Chris Williams equalised in the 66th minute.
The game looked to be heading for extra time until Millsy, who came on as a 69th minute sub, tried his luck from just outside the penalty area and the ball squirmed underneath the Melford keeper for the winner.
Well done to all involved with the first team and a big thank you to all the Whitton fans for your fantastic support.
